Today, Assembly Icehouse, a new sports bar in Plano, Texas, announced that it will have live music entertainment for its guests on December 31, 2025. The NYE event does not require any ticket or paid admission, and the bar's regular menu is available along with drink specials. According to JR Muñoz, "After opening on October 31, 2025, we are looking to build on our opening momentum by going all out for our first New Year's Eve bash. We have hosted over 15 live music acts on our stage every Friday and Saturday night since opening, providing East Plano with a much-needed free live music establishment. For New Year's Eve, we will be hosting the band Big in Vegas featuring Ryan Ready, followed by a late night, top 40s DJ. We aim to provide a space for the community to celebrate the New Year, without the hassle of tickets or cover charges, topped off with a champagne toast at midnight."
In addition to special events, such as New Year's Eve parties and major sporting events on the large screens for guests, Assembly Icehouse also has other events scheduled weekly. Live music happens on Friday and Saturday evenings, and there are daily happy hour specials coming soon.
Assembly Icehouse indicated that it is part of a three-business building in the new Assembly Park complex, including Cliff Coffee and Tacoro Tacos & Tequila. Located just East of Central Expressway (Highway 75) and K Avenue - sharing the parking lot adjoining The Annabel apartment complex, it is within a short drive from Collin College's Plano Campus, the Plano Event Center, John Clark Stadium, and the High Point Tennis Center.
