The New company brings CSI's commercial vehicle electrification expertise to rapidly deployable power solutions ranging from 233 kWh to 5 MWh

LIVERMORE, Calif., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Coulomb Solutions, Inc. (CSI) today announced the launch of ReadyGrid, a dedicated mobile energy storage company created to deliver best-in-class products and services addressing some of its customers' most demanding power challenges.

Effective November 1^st, CSI will transition all its Mobile Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) activities to ReadyGrid, including engineering, product development, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, distribution, service and warranty. The creation of CSI's new dedicated organization brings these capabilities together under one brand with a singular focus: developing, delivering and supporting rapidly deployable power solutions that solve real-world energy and infrastructure challenges.

CSI has established itself as a leading provider of electrification components for the North American commercial vehicle market, providing advanced high-voltage battery systems, low-voltage batteries and electrification components through its strategic partnership with CATL, the world's largest battery manufacturer. More recently, over the past two years, CSI has applied that expertise to a new challenge: delivering substantial electrical capacity where permanent grid infrastructure is unavailable, constrained, delayed or uneconomical.

ReadyGrid was formed specifically to take that capability to the next level. The company has developed a portfolio of rugged, rapidly deployable energy storage systems ranging from approximately 233 kWh to 5 MWh, addressing applications including high-power commercial EV charging, demand response, grid resiliency, data centers and other high-load facilities, construction and remote operations, peak shaving, entertainment and sporting events, and emergency or temporary power.

The launch comes as the global market for mobile energy storage is projected to expand significantly. According to research from Astute Analytica reported by Yahoo Finance in January 2026, the global Mobile Energy Storage System market is projected to grow from approximately $7.57 billion in 2025 to $34.03 billion by 2035, representing a 16.22% compound annual growth rate from 2026 through 2035. Systems below 3 MWh represent the largest capacity segment at more than 39.31% of the global market, while the United States accounts for more than 75% of the North American market.
