InventHelp Inventor Develops Device to Trap Flying Insects (CNH-6014)

PR Newswire

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create an innovative way to trap large swarms or groups of flies in midair," said an inventor, from Lima, Ohio, "so I invented THE KNAT KNAPPER. My design eliminates the need to squash a flying insect against a flat surface."

The invention provides an improved method of ridding areas of insect infestations. In doing so, it would trap flies to prevent the mess associated with squashing a flying insect. As a result, it reduces exposure to contaminated blood and remnants of a squashed bug. It also saves time and effort. The invention features a practical design that is easy to use so it is ideal for households, motor vehicles, at campsites, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
