The new, 3,000-square-foot footprint introduces a modernized design that blends the warmth of Italian hospitality with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Guests will notice the details: sleek white quartz countertops, new wall tile treatments bordered in gold, slate-style tile flooring, an eye-catching gold wine cage above the bar, and thoughtfully chosen new seating–all designed to make the space feel more intimate, elevated and unmistakably Piesanos.
And while the décor may be new, the commitment to handcrafted flavor is as strong as ever, rooted in the family recipes Piesanos has lovingly made for years.

A Smarter Space, Built for Convenience
Despite being a smaller footprint than other Piesanos locations, the Southern Trace Piesanos is designed for speed and convenience. A dedicated carryout area and pickup window make it easier than ever for guests to get their favorites faster, without sacrificing the hospitality or quality the brand is known for. Catering services are available for groups ranging from 8 to 800 people.
In the kitchen, Southern Trace is the first Piesanos to fire up the new “Volcano” Pizza Oven by Hot Rocks. This state-of-the-art oven uses advanced technology to turn out the same legendary granite stone-fired pizzas, but faster and more efficiently keeping up with demand while maintaining the artisanal quality guests love.

Guests can look forward to Piesanos’ signature complimentary fresh-baked rolls and a full lineup of stone-fired pizzas, pastas and Italian-inspired favorites. The Southern Trace menu will feature guest favorites such as:
- Antico (Ultra-Thin): Fresh mozzarella, mini cup & char pepperoni, and fresh basil, made with the same authentic ingredients used in New York pizzerias since 1905.
- Old Fashioned: Fresh mozzarella and old-fashioned Roma tomato sauce, a tribute to classic New York–style pizza.
- Sriracha Hot Honey: Fresh mozzarella, mini cup & char pepperoni, garlic, and a drizzle of spicy-sweet sriracha hot honey.

Giving Back: Villagers for Veterans
To celebrate the opening, Piesanos is partnering with Villagers for Veterans, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. From October 13 through October 19, Piesanos will donate $5 for every $25 in gift card sales purchased at the Southern Trace location.
