New Ogden Site Marks The Point’s Expansion into the Salt Lake City Market

The new restaurant, located at 1810 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, is set to open its doors in early 2027 and will be one of three planned locations in the greater Salt Lake City area.
The Ogden site will be part of a stunning new mixed-use development and will feature a covered rooftop patio, riverfront views, and the potential for direct access to brand-new bike and footpaths connecting the community. Designed to reflect The Point’s signature blend of comfort, community, and quality, the space will offer both local families and visitors a warm, welcoming environment to gather, dine, and unwind.
Franchise owner Darrel Schildknecht, a seasoned restaurateur and accomplished businessman, is leading the charge to bring The Point to Utah. With decades of experience, Darrel brings a deep understanding of hospitality and operations to the brand’s newest market. His vision includes creating a destination that not only celebrates great food and atmosphere but also provides private dining and event spaces for the growing Ogden community.
