What starts as a monumental heart filled with messages of love is becoming a new kind of social platform — a living archive of human connection built by people around the world

In a time where much of the internet feels driven by outrage, division, and endless noise, Toronto couple Maria and Andrei are building something radically different: The Biggest Heart in the World.

Created through their platform, House of Love, the project combines art, technology, storytelling, and human emotion into what they describe as the world’s first large-scale interactive love monument. At launch, visitors will be able to explore a massive digital heart made up of hundreds of real love notes submitted by people from different cities, countries, and walks of life. Users can zoom in, discover individual messages, create profiles, and contribute their own notes, memories, and reflections about love and human connection.

But according to its creators, the vision extends far beyond a digital art installation.

“What we’re really building is a living space for humanity,” says Andrei, co-founder of House of Love. “We wanted to create something that reminds people that love still exists everywhere around us — in relationships, friendships, family, kindness, heartbreak, healing, and the way people show up for one another.”

As more people contribute, the monument is designed to continuously evolve into one of the world’s largest collections of human emotion, love stories, wisdom, and personal expression ever assembled in one place. The long-term vision is to transform the heart into a global social platform centered around positivity, vulnerability, connection, and shared human experiences.

To celebrate the launch, Maria and Andrei will also be embarking on a cross-Canada journey from Toronto to Vancouver, collecting stories, messages, and moments from communities across the country. Along the way, they plan to collaborate with local businesses, creators, media outlets, and supporters helping bring the movement to life.

The creators say the idea for the project began with small handwritten love notes between the two of them, eventually growing into a much larger realization: that people everywhere are searching for connection, meaning, and spaces where they can genuinely express themselves.

“We’ve built platforms for almost everything in modern life,” says Maria. “But there still aren’t many places online built entirely around love, humanity, and emotional connection. We wanted to change that.”

The Biggest Heart in the World is scheduled to officially launch in the coming weeks through House of Love, where early visitors will be able to explore the monument, leave their own messages, and become part of what its creators hope will grow into a lasting global movement centered around love.
